Meet Your Instructor
Nicole Rizzuto
Nicole Rizzuto is a licensed tattoo artist and restorative tattoo specialist based in Long Island, New York, with a primary focus in nipple-areola reconstruction, scar camouflage, and gender-affirming tattooing.
With years of experience working alongside breast cancer survivors, post-mastectomy patients, and individuals undergoing surgical reconstruction, Nicole has developed a practice centered on precision, clinical awareness, and natural aesthetic restoration. Her work integrates technical tattoo expertise with an understanding of surgical outcomes, tissue healing, and the anatomical considerations that directly impact restorative results.
Through her continued work in medical tattooing, Nicole has become known for her approach to complex corrective cases, particularly in nipple-areola tattoo refinement, color correction in compromised skin, and asymmetry adjustments in previously tattooed work. Her focus is on improving long-term visual outcomes through thoughtful design, pigment strategy, and procedural accuracy.
Nicole is also the founder of NMR Tattoo and the creator of the Medical Tattoo Fellowship ProgramĀ®, an advanced continuing education pathway developed to support experienced artists in elevating their clinical skillset within restorative tattooing.
Her teaching emphasizes real-world case analysis, technical decision-making, and professional standards in medical tattoo practice, with a strong focus on advancing the quality and consistency of results within the field.
Through both her studio practice and educational programs, Nicole remains committed to raising the standard of restorative tattooing and supporting artists who are dedicated to mastering this specialized discipline.
